About Our Company

Established 1989

Quality Computer Services, Inc. (QCSI) is a Pittsburgh based computer sales and service organization located at 390 Freeport Road Pittsburgh PA 15238. Established in 1989, we provide a complete range of services from site preparation and installation to complete outsourced IT Solutions. Quality Computer Services, Inc. distinguishes itself in the computer industry by designating customer satisfaction as the prime driving force to achieve “Quality” in our sales and service.

QCSI is an Authorized sales and service provider for most major brands of computer hardware and associated peripherals. We provide comprehensive network solutions and support for small, medium and corporate businesses.

We have seen many changes in service and support needs over the past 20 years. QCSI has changed its service offerings and how that service is delivered to our clients. As little as 5 years ago, very little support could be provided remotely to organizations. Service had to be performed on-site. Today, we are able to provide most service and support remotely through the use of our ‘State of the Art’ monitoring and support network. The bottom line is that our clients enjoy a more cost effective, expedited resolution to all their technology issues. Our primary focus is to provide complete IT support for organizations with 5 to 200 installed computers. We accomplish this by augmenting an already existing IT Department or by becoming an organization’s outsourced IT Department.

Customer Base

We have designed, installed and are supporting networks in various professional environments. Approximately 75% of our customers are small offices with less than 150 installed computers and Local Area Networks. The remaining 25% are larger organizations with greater than 150 installed computers and Wide Area Networks.

Certifications / Authorizations

Quality Computer Services, Inc. offers products and services from a wide variety of manufacturers. We are proud to be an authorized reseller for Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Sony, Toshiba, Lenovo, Sonicwall, Trend Micro and Watchguard. We are also an authorized reseller of Microsoft products. All of our Service Engineers have obtained the nationally recognized A+ Certification demonstrating their commitment to service quality. A+ certification encompasses configuration, installation, diagnoses, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of microcomputers and associated technologies, as well as interaction with customers and safety practices.

  • All of our support Engineers have a minimum of 5 years experience and well over 50 years of combined experience.
  • All QCSI support Engineers have obtained the industry recognized CompTIA A+ Certification, which is a minimum requirement before being employed.
  • We have 5 Support Engineers with the CompTIA Network Plus Certification.
  • We have 2 Support Engineers that have obtained their Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification’
  • We have 1 support Engineer that has obtained Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) status.
  • Our support Engineers have completed a wide range of Hewlett Packard printer certification exams too numerous to list.

Associations

Quality Computer Services, Inc. is a proud member of The ASCII Group and Comptia (Computer Technology Industry Association). The ASCII Group is a national advocate for independent solution providers, which grants access to many of the major computer equipment manufacturers. Comptia is an international organization of more than 10,000 companies, whose mission is to preserve quality service and professionalism in the computer industry. Comptia sets high standards for Service Engineers by providing certification programs for all levels of service.

Confidentiality Assurance of Secure Information

QCSI requires each employee, when they are hired, to sign a Confidentiality Agreement as a condition of their employment. Employees are aware that the misuse or release of confidential company or client information is grounds for their immediate termination.

HIPAA / Confidentiality Agreements

Quality Computer Services, Inc. is willing to sign a HIPAA and/or Confidentiality agreement if requested to do so. We currently provide service to many other clients that are required to follow HIPAA guidelines.

We also require all employees to have a Criminal Background Check as a condition of employment; this gives our clients the reassurance that we are employing respectable persons.

QCSI has never had a claim or incident with any of our employees over the misuse of confidential information in the 20 years we have been in business.
